Make Something Meaningful.org was started as a way to connect artists, makers, and creatives.
We’re living in unusual times ~ at the time of this writing, events have been cancelled, schools have been shuttered, and businesses have been ordered to close indefinitely in order to slow the spread of a dangerous virus. It will impact the health of many people, and even more will feel its emotional and economic impact. Lots of folks are going to need a helping hand, and the more hands helping, the better.
So here is what we have to give.
Our weekly newsletter is filled with artistic musings and individuals living a creative life. Need to stay hopeful in times of instability? We’ve got you. Stuck “sheltering in place” and going stir crazy? We’re on it. Feeling anxious and need to read something more uplifting than the news? We’re here.
We’re not trying to sugarcoat things. But there are plenty of places telling you how dire things are and how to properly wash your hands, and far fewer giving you hope and positive energy. We want to be one of them.
This part is evolving. But we think it’s needed, so we’re going to build it. Our vision is to create a private space where artists and creatives can connect with and support each other.
Thanks for reading, and feel free to send comments/ suggestions our way.
Because we’re all in this together.
