Make Something Meaningful connects artists, creatives, and makers.
We believe in the power of creative thinking. Of dreaming. Of teaching and learning. Of getting our hands dirty and doing the work. Most importantly, we believe in community.
But we also know that creative work is sticky. It comes wrapped in layers of unknowns, self doubt, and uncertainty. We all need a helping hand from time to time, and the more hands helping, the better.
So here is what we have to give.
Our bi-weekly newsletter is filled with artistic musings and individuals living a creative life. Need to stay hopeful in times of instability? We’ve got you. Stuck “sheltering in place” and going stir crazy? We’re on it. Feeling anxious and need to read something more uplifting than the news? We’re here.
We’re not trying to sugarcoat things. But there are plenty of places telling you how dire things are and far fewer giving you hope and positive energy. We want to be one of them.
Right now it’s just one book (although we think it’s quite a good one!) but fun things are in the works. We’re dreaming of workshops and artist retreats, tiny stays in tiny houses… actual in person gathering when it’s finally safe to gather. We can’t wait.
This part is evolving. But we think it’s needed, so we’re going to build it. Our vision is to create a private space where artists and creatives can connect with and support one another.
Thanks for reading! We hope you enjoy.
